Following the sucessful SM451, here comes the Hanwha SM485P.
A high precision multi-functional placement system equipped with four Force Control Precision Heads. The SM485P can place any component available to it. So be it radial through hole, flip chip, COB, POP, throigh hole connector, sheild can or a Lego Man, the machine will do it.
Hard to pick parts by traditional vacuum nozzles are picked by gripper nozzle. As standard the machine will handle parts in height up to 32mm, however an option is available to handle up to 44mm.
The machine uses 4 small cameras where alignment is done on the fly and any large parts are aligned using the stage camera which will see components up to 150mm in length.
The machine is not designed for speed, but Odd form capability and flexibility. Below are just some features:
